About Alta Children's Center
Located on-site at the world-famous Alta Ski Resort, you can drop off your child at a safe and fun care center and literally step out the door and hit the slopes. The Alta Children’s Center is a full-service child care facility that caters to children from 2 months old to 12 years old. Infants and young children can play, create and learn in the center.
Alta Children's center works closely with the Alf Engen Ski School to facilitate transitions for private ski lessons. Our center is designed to stimulate curious young minds with areas set up for creative arts, social/emotional learning in the dramatic play area, blocks & physical motor movement area, and a math and science discovery area. We provide 3 nutritious meals throughout the day.

At Alta Children's Center, we are committed to providing safe, enriching, and flexible childcare where children experience the joy of play in a nurturing community, fostering a sense of belonging as they explore and have fun. We aim to empower families to enjoy their mountain experience with peace of mind, knowing their children are in a secure and loving environment.

Ms. Ilse is a German-speaking, South African-American, and a busy mama of two boys with 28+ years of experience in Early Childhood Education. -
Caregiver Isabel
Isabel is a Utah native who fell in love with Alta when she began working at the Alta Children’s Center. -
Caregiver Maryana
Maryana is a mom of 3, originally from Brazil, and she is a Kindergarten Paraeducator during the week. -
Caregiver Jess
This is Jess's second year with the Alta children’s center. -
Caregiver Becca
Becca grew up in Sandy Utah, she felt like the mountains were her back yard and grew her love for adventure and being in nature. -
Substitute Caregiver Brooke
Ms. Brooke is a kind, loving teacher who is always ready for an adventure! -
Yoga Instructor/Substitute Caregiver Cameron
Mom to 2 young girls, who loves skiing, making coffee, and being outside! Certified Kids Yoga instructor and day maker. -
Substitute Caregiver Macy
Macy moved to Utah from New Orleans a year ago to be closer to the mountains! Macy has 10+ years of childcare experience. -

Isabell (Iza) is a caring mother of three who enjoys helping young children grow through play, routine, and positive encouragement. -
